Brandmeier Mornings The Loop 97.9

Merely a day after I saw the Joey Bag-O-Donuts billboard being covered by a cool-ass Brandmeier ad, the job is now complete. It's on Grand and Carpenter, looking north over the genius expressway entrance/exit mess at Ohio and Ontario Streets.

The billboard is rather mesmerizing, isn't it?!

You should quit wasting your time listening to The Loop's Get The Led Out. Every classic rock radio station in the world does that. For Zeppelin programming that is really outside the box, tune in to WCKG for The Zeppelin Hour Fridays late night at 1am. Jimmy Mac is the host and he plays rare live recordings, interviews, and clever soundbites. It is much better than your typical "get the led out" thang. Thanks

Thanks... I didn't know about that show, and I'll definitely check it out. Hope something like that can survive on local WCKG once Infinity rolls out the remainder of the "Free FM" trainwreck.

I do love Get the Led Out, though. Yeah, it's a classic rock radio staple... but I grew up on it in a different Midwest town (though the jocks weren't as cool as Byrd), and it's nice to know it's there every night.

I guess I was a little harsh when I said "Quit wasting your time". ANY Zeppelin on the FM is worth a listen. I just wanted you to know there is a really good Zep show out there.

Do they re-run that show at any other time(s)? It sounds great, but that's such a hard time for me to listen...
